Child safety standards

Last updated 3 October 2026

WhoFree has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out WhoFree's standards, how to report a concern, and what I do about it.

Who WhoFree is for

WhoFree is for people aged 13 and over. It's built for friends who already know each other: there are no public profiles, no search, and no way to find or contact strangers. People only see each other after sharing a crew or friend code.

The app has no messaging, no photos, no videos and no file sharing. The only things people can see are each other's display names, crew names and statuses.

What isn't allowed

These rules sit alongside the terms of use, which ban offensive and abusive behaviour of any kind.

How to report a concern

You can also block anyone straight away from the same menu, or leave a crew. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
